"The best find so far on our trip in Italy! A hidden gem of a place serving healthy choices for brunch — best of all the service and hospitality was top notch, the owner is very warm and welcoming, which is such a lovely change from other highly rated but ultimately disappointing places. Our kids were provided with colouring items and paper so that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The food is very fresh and child-friendly. The decor, the ambience, the beautiful books were all a delightful treat to the senses and we left feeling very satisfied."

"What a wonderful place! Olivia is a sweetheart and the force of nature. The location is gorgeous, the indoor is very cozy and has a lovely vibe. And the food - the best Cesar salad in my life, wonderful coffee. Come and try this gem."

"Very friendly and the food was delicious, and a nice change from other local options which tend to not offer a lot of variety."

"After reading all these wonderful reciews, I couldn't not come here! It felt like coming home, the owner welcomes you with her big beautiful smile and her home-cooked meals. The atmosphere, the cosyness and all the books there speak to simplicity and warmth. Being a solo traveller, I've not felt welcome in many restaurants and cafes, so thank you for sharing your joy and your infectious laughter too! I had the most relaxing, delicious dinner here."

"As I walked through the small and welcoming spaces of Olivia Libreria Bistrot, I asked myself: how is it possible that I haven't come here before? The place itself is a gift for literature lovers, like me. Surrounding the tables, small shelves full of children's books from the most varied places were paired with plants, appropriately positioned, and many other decorative elements that evoked the atmosphere of a home. A second space, dedicated exclusively to reading, with velvety armchairs and a small table with a lamp filling it with light, left me with no doubt: it's like being at home, but the experience would be complete, as I would indulge in the menu, specially designed for a place like this: a mix of world cuisines, to welcome anyone, regardless of where they come from. On that occasion, I chose potato soup with leeks and chestnuts and a sandwich with chestnut bread with burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives, very well accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine, rightly recommended by the very kind Erisejda, who made us very welcome. Closing the experience, a mascarpone and pistachio pie, produced by a baker in San Gimignano, and the feeling that this will be one of my favorite places to eat, be with friends, and relax."

"Wonderful lunch. Super friendly host. Food was delicious including the off the menu meal for our four year old. We followed recommendations for wine and the white and red were both delicious. Best music playlist of anywhere we’ve been recently. Definitely coming back."

"Came here with my husband and children (8months, 3 yrs) and it was a wonderful stay! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the place is absolutely lovely and cozy. My 3-year old loved looking at all the books while we were enjoying our lunch and she was even allowed to color on some paper with pencils that were both made available to her. On top of that, the waitress was willing to throw together a lunch for my 3-year old that wasn’t even on the menu and she ate almost all of it. And for my 8-month old she mashed up some avocado so I had something to feed to her. It really felt like she was doing her work with a lot of love, and that is something that is hard to come by. To us, the waitress really went the extra mile with her service and always smiled and was so friendly answering all my questions. We had such an unexpected amazing experience and are hoping to return some day! Thank you!"
